Auditioners may come either day to auditions.
Callbacks will be Oct 12
Bring up to 1 minute of a prepared song. You may sing with a track or acapella.
A dance will be taught so please come prepared to move! (Don’t worry, it’ll be fun!)
PLEASE NOTE: We ask that everyone auditioning wears a mask.
**Rehearsals will begin shortly after casting.**
BE ADVISED: There *will* be rehearsals the week of Thanksgiving, so actors must be available.

About the Show

Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character.

February Classes

Cameron Jackson will teach techniques and routines to help prepare the youth for dance auditions and performances.
Cameron Jackson is a previous member of the Texas Metropolitan Ballet company where he learned ballet, jazz and international dance. He has also trained with various theaters in the area such as the ZACH Theatre in Austin, where he trained in their PreProfessional Program. Cameron has choreographed and been dance captain for multiple productions in the area. He is excited to teach the future actors/actresses of our local theaters the basic steps and techniques to succeed in any dance audition.

Classes will be held every Thursday in February from 5 to 6PM.
Age range is 8 to 18 years old.
Cost is $100 per child. Multi-child discount available.
